Pousada Aguapé

Pousada Aguapé is located in southern Pantanal and, like most lodges in Pantanal, is a working farm with both cows and horses. For more than 20 years, they have been welcoming travellers from all over the world to show off their amazing scenery.

The lodge has just 15 rooms and the atmosphere is cosy and informal. The rooms are simple but they all have a private toilet, air conditioning, ceiling fan and fridge stocked with cold drinks.

Meals are included in the price and are served as a delicious buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

In the morning and afternoon, when the temperature is at its lowest and the animals are therefore most active, there are various excursions on offer either by 4WD, by boat, on foot or on horseback. So you have every opportunity to experience the beautiful scenery and the fascinating wildlife the area has to offer.

In the middle of the day, it’s “siesta” time back at the lodge where you can relax by the small pool while enjoying chilled drinks from the bar.

In the lodge’s communal areas and TV room, you can chat to the other guests about their animal experiences and share your own. There is also Wi-Fi here, so you can share your experiences your family and friends back home.
