Hotels included in our tours
This cosy hotel is a converted farm, a so-called “Finca”. It is located approx. 12 km from Armenia in the beautiful, lush countryside. A large green area belongs to the hotel with a football pitch, volleyball court and a playground.
The hotel has 22 colourful, cosy rooms. Simply decorated, they are pleasant and clean, with their own toilet. Free Wi-Fi is available at the hotel.
The hotel has an outdoor restaurant, where you can enjoy a view of the garden. There is also a swimming pool, a children’s pool and a small jacuzzi and sauna.
The hotel is centrally located in the old district of La Candelaria with the Parque de los Periodistas park its closest neighbour. You are within walking distance of the city’s main sights such as the Gold Museum (Museo del Oro), Plaza Bolívar, the Botero Museum and Mount Monserrate.
The hotel is modernly appointed with 64 large, bright rooms. All rooms have a TV, safe, minibar and free Wi-Fi.
The hotel has a small bar and a breakfast restaurant serving delicious breakfast consisting of fresh fruit, yoghurt, eggs, cold cuts, breads and cakes as well as coffee, tea and juice.
Right next to the hotel is the Juan Valdez coffee chain, where you can enjoy a delicious cup of Colombian coffee.
In Cartagena’s old town behind the thick city walls is Hotel Don Pedro de Heredia, named after Cartagena’s Spanish founder.
The hotel is a beautifully renovated colonial building with 41 rooms. The rooms are not that big but they all have en suite bathrooms, air conditioning, a safe and minibar.
In the centre of the hotel, there is a small swimming pool where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in Cartagena’s midday heat.

The hotel is located in the heart of the popular El Poblado area, which buzzes with life and trendy bars and restaurants. El Poblado is not only a popular area for tourists. This is where the Colombians themselves go out.

In a beautiful, renovated colonial building in Santa Marta’s historic district, you will find the cosy La Calzada del Santo hotel.
The hotel has 12 rooms all with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, TV, safe and fridge.
On the roof of the hotel, there is a small pool and hammocks where you can relax and enjoy the view of the city and the Sierra Madre mountains in the background.
The hotel also has a small breakfast restaurant which, among other things, serves fresh tropical fruit.
There are three different jungle camps on the Lost City trek.
The camps are primitive with shared toilet facilities. They accommodate around 50 people and are shared by several groups at a time. You will sleep in bunk beds or hammocks with mosquito nets. There are sheets and blankets at the camps. The temperature may drop to 18–22 degrees during the night.
The beds are under a lean-to, sheltered from the rain.
This boutique hotel enjoys a fantastic location in the heart of the Coffee Region surrounded by coffee plantations, banana plants and other exotic fruits. At the hotel’s gourmet restaurant, you can enjoy a nice glass of wine or a delicious cup of coffee and admire the picturesque view.
The hotel has 16 spacious and beautifully decorated rooms, all with an en suite bathroom, TV and minibar.
The hotel has a swimming pool, children’s pool, jacuzzi and a small gym. Massage is available for a fee.
You can explore the area around the hotel on your own via a small marked nature trail, where you can study the area’s flora and fauna up close.
In Bogotá’s old district, La Candelaria, you will find numerous beautiful colonial buildings. Many of them have been renovated and converted into hotels, and Casa de la Opera is one of them. The hotel is located just behind Plaza Bolívar in the heart of the old district, within easy walking distance of the city’s main attractions.
The hotel has a total of 42 beautiful rooms spread over two sections, all with a TV, safe, minibar and free Wi-Fi.
It has two restaurants, one overlooking the city. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served here. There is also 24-hour room service. At the hotel, there is also a small bar, gym and a day spa area with a small pool.
In the building right opposite the hotel, there is a small window with a story to tell. Simón Bolívar is said to have saved his life by escaping through this very window.
Anandá Hotel Boutique is a small oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the narrow streets inside Cartagena’s city walls. And the city walls are of special significance to this hotel, as the architect of them once lived in this building. The hotel is beautifully renovated with attention to the smallest details.
The hotel has just 23 rooms, all of them spacious and beautifully furnished with beautiful dark wood furniture. There is air conditioning, a TV, safe and minibar in the rooms.
Guests can take a refreshing dip in the hotel’s swimming pool or relax and enjoy the view of the city from a sun lounger on the rooftop terrace, where there is also a jacuzzi and small bar.
The hotel has its own gourmet restaurant serving national and international dishes and, of course, a lot of fish and seafood.
In the trendy district of El Poblado, you will find Hotel Viaggio. The hotel from 2017 is new and beautiful.
It has 130 spacious rooms, all with air conditioning, minibar, coffee/tea making facilities, safe and hair dryer. The rooms enjoy great views over the city.
The hotel has its own restaurant, Artigiano Restaurant, and two bars on the 1st and 9th floors respectively.
Casa de Leda is a colourful boutique hotel in Santa Marta’s historic centre.
The hotel has 18 rooms, all decorated differently in beautiful bright colours. All rooms have air conditioning, safe and minibar.
Relax on the cosy rooftop terrace with a drink in your hand overlooking the old cathedral or enjoy a refreshing dip in the small pool. The hotel’s restaurant is also located on the rooftop terrace.
Decameron is a fabulous all-inclusive resort on the Barú peninsula, just a 1.5-hour drive south of Cartagena.
Here, you can look forward to swimming in the clear waters of the hotel’s private sandy beach or relaxing at one of the four large swimming pools for adults and children.
The resort has 366 spacious rooms, all with air conditioning, cable TV and a fridge stocked with free water.
The resort has a large buffet restaurant serving a variety of local and international dishes, an Italian a la carte restaurant, an Asian a la carte restaurant and an a la carte fish restaurant serving sensational seafood.
You will also find four bars at the resort, where you can quench your thirst in the tropical heat.
If you feel the need to be active, there are tennis courts, gym facilities and a water sports centre. A fee is payable for some of the activities.
The resort has a large day spa where you can purchase a range of treatments.
Every day, there is a wide range of entertainment and activities for children and adults alike. In the evenings, there are also various shows and a disco.
Wi-Fi is available in the hotel lobby and pool area and can be purchased for a surcharge in reception.
This resort is extremely popular, so we recommend booking in very good time if you want to be sure of them having space for you.

On the idyllic little island of Isla Mucura, around a 2-hour sail from Cartagena, is Punta Faro. Here, you can really relax and take things down a notch after an eventful tour of Colombia. The hotel is quite unlike any other. There are no keys to the rooms and there is no music or entertainment, just the sound of the waves and the breeze.
The 37 rooms are spacious and rustically decorated, all with air conditioning, TV, fridge and safe.
The Wi-Fi is not particularly good out there, and their network is aptly named “disconnected from the world”.
The hotel has a breakfast and lunch restaurant. Weather-permitting, dinner is served al fresco. All meals are included in the price as are non-alcoholic drinks (fizzy drinks, lemonade and water) during meals. Alcoholic drinks and drinks not served with meals are sold at reasonable prices.
You can play tennis and volleyball here or jump into the waves at the idyllic, little private beach. There is also plenty of opportunity to read a book and relax in one of the many hammocks and small oases with sun loungers that surround the hotel.
There is also a small day spa, where you can purchase a massage if you fancy a spot of pampering.
The hotel has a diving centre where you can buy water sports activities such as snorkelling, catamaraning and kayaking.
