Look forward to a lovely conclusion to your tour in pleasant Tulum. Here, everything takes place at a calm pace and both locals and tourists use bicycles to get around. Hotels in Tulum are relatively small, and there is a lot of demand for the rooms, so you have to strike early to get one. Tulum is more expensive than Playa del Carmen in terms of cost, but many still choose Tulum due to its wholly unique mood and atmosphere.

Hip Hotel has a fantastic location right on the beach in Tulum, surrounded by palm trees and azure waters. All the buildings are made from natural materials, and the hotel easily blends into the beautiful nature surrounding it.

The hotel has just 25 rooms, divided across 6 buildings. The rooms feature beautiful and simple interiors, with en-suite bathrooms, safes, ceiling fans and mosquito mesh for the windows. The hotel has no air conditioning, and the rooms are naturally cooled by the fresh sea breeze.
Rooms feature either a small porch or a balcony with a hammock, where you can lie and relax with a good book. You can choose between a sea view or a view of the tropical garden.
Free Wi-Fi is available in all common areas in the hotel.

The hotel restaurant is open all day and serves both Mexican specialities and appetisers as well as international cuisine. You can sit right on the beach and enjoy your food under an open sky, or on the pleasant terrace with a panoramic view of the beach and the gorgeous Caribbean Sea.

The hotel also has a small bar to provide you with cold beverages and colourful drinks.

Parasols and beach chairs can be used free of charge on the beach. This is also the location of the hotel spa area, where you can purchase wellness and massage treatments.

If you need more experiences, Hip Hotel is just a few kilometres from both the Tulum Maya ruins and the Sian Ka’an Reserve, which features wholly unique plant and animal life, and which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
