Trek to the top of Huayna Picchu Mountain
Next to Machu Picchu stands the 2,693-metre-high mountain, Huayna Picchu. It is 260 metres higher than Machu Picchu, and from the top of the mountain you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Machu Pichu ruin complex and the Urubamba river.
However, it is a demanding climb to the top up small, steep and, at times, slippery steps – so not for everyone.
There is a limit to how many people are allowed to climb Huayna Picchu Mountain per day, so it is important to book a place in good time and always while booking your holiday.
The tour is without a guide.
